Tour Summary
Our Dolphin Watch & Snorkel combo goes out on a larger 42-foot powered catamaran vessel that was custom designed for comfort, luxury, and speed. This is one of the best and most luxurious ways to experience the beautiful Key West back country where hundreds of our native dolphins make their home. Dolphins are a common site in Key West, but these dolphin tours take you out to the areas that are most highly populated by these charming and friendly marine mammals! It is not uncommon to spot over 20 dolphins on these Key West dolphin tours!
When you climb on board our Dolphin Watch & Snorkel Combo package, you will be greeted by a friendly crew who is dedicated to making you have the best time possible during your journey. The first stop is to the famous Dolphin Playground, which is basically just an area to the north of the island of Key West that is known to be home to the largest number of dolphin pods. Here is where we will encounter the wild dolphins! Have your cameras ready to get that perfect shot of these playful and energetic animals. It is not uncommon for the dolphins to actually come right up to the boat. Dolphins are, after all, extremely friendly and sociable animals and are not hesitant to meet and interact with humans.
After observing and admiring the wild dolphins, it is time to experience a Key West classic - snorkeling at the coral reef! Aside from Key West dolphin watching, Key West snorkeling is probably one of the island’s most beloved activities. We will take you out to a shallow spot along the reef that will be teeming with marine life. You will get to swim at the surface of the water as you take in all the beauty of the corals beneath. Keep your eyes wide for all kinds of marine creatures including reef fish, turtles, lobster, and much more! If you are booking the afternoon trip, you will also get a chance to witness the gorgeous Key West sunset as you sip on complimentary draft beer!
Can I get in the water with the dolphins?
Due to State Laws in Florida we are only able to get up close, without making contact. We will be encountering wild dolphins in their natural habitat, from the boat. Then moving to another location for snorkeling.
It is your responsibility to make sure you are aware of and understand all restrictions pertaining to this tour before booking online or over the phone. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically qualified and within any limits listed below in order to participate in this activity. No refunds will be given to those who reserve a spot and can not participate due to the restrictions listed below.
